In Northern Morocco, the average annual wind speed is 3.0–4.5 m/s, and the frequency of wind speeds 5–7 m/s is 29% in Tanger, 20% in Nador, and 16% in Al Hoceima. In Tanger, the frequency of wind speeds 8–10 and 11–15 m/s are 13 and 4%, respectively [ 22 ].
